La Alhambra por la noche!

We had a special visit to the Alhambra at night! We returned at 10 pm to visit the three palaces built within the fortress walls. The Alhambra is famous for its Islamic architecture and was a Moorish stronghold and residence for various Muslim rulers. During the Reconquista of Spain it fell under Christian control.
The whole place is filled with the smell of flowers and the sound of running water. These pictures do not do the palaces justice!
